Bhedikudar Creche Inugration
On Wednesday, 05 February 2026, the inauguration programme of the Shishughar was successfully organized with great enthusiasm and traditional customs at Village Bhedikudur under Bangru Panchayat. The programme was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Panchayat Samiti Member, Mrs. Sumanti Didi, along with other public representatives, by cutting the ribbon.
On the occasion of the inauguration, the villagers organized a traditional procession from the Shishughar to the School Toli, accompanied by invited guests, with the beats of traditional nagara and dhol. Men, women, youth, and children of the village participated enthusiastically in the procession. The guests were warmly welcomed amidst the rhythmic sound of drums and escorted to the Shishughar premises.
After reaching the Shishughar campus, all the guests were seated properly and welcomed through a traditional welcome song. Thereafter, the Honorable Mukhiya, Panchayat Samiti Member, and other distinguished guests formally inaugurated the Shishughar.
During the programme, all the invited guests shared their views on the importance of the Shishughar.
Mr. Ravi from CKN stated that the opening of the Shishughar has paved the way for the holistic development of children in the village. He appealed to parents to send their children regularly so that the objective of the crèche can be fulfilled.
The representative of Foundation explained that children may take some time to adapt to the Shishughar environment in the initial days and there is no need to worry about this. He also informed that nutritious food, a safe environment, and various types of toys have been provided to ensure the physical and mental development of children.
The Secretary of CKN informed that the Shishughar will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Children will be provided with a safe environment, nutritious food, and proper care, which will strengthen their mental development and help them become responsible citizens in the future.
In his address, the Honorable Mukhiya said that the opening of the Shishughar will provide relief to caregivers and allow parents to focus on farming and other livelihood activities without worry. He appealed to all villagers to cooperate in the smooth functioning of the Shishughar and ensure timely attendance of children so that the center can operate successfully in the long run.
The Panchayat Samiti Member expressed gratitude to CKN and Azim Premji Foundation for providing such a well-organized facility in the village and emphasized that the successful operation of the Shishughar is a collective responsibility.
During the programme, speakers highlighted the important role of the Shishughar in providing nutrition, care, safety, and support to mothers and children in the age group of 7 to 36 months.
All attendees were served Sev and Budhiya as prasad. On this occasion, a total of 22 children in the age group of 7 to 36 months were enrolled in the Shishughar and Anthro done 18. As per the prescribed menu, children were provided with Chhatua, Khichdi, egg, and Halwa, which they consumed joyfully.
The programme was attended by the Honorable Mukhiya, Panchayat Samiti Member, village representatives, representatives of the organization, and a large number of villagers, including women and men. Everyone appreciated the programme and assured their full cooperation for the smooth functioning of the Shishughar
