“Strengthening the PRIs and Gram sabha to ensure the all round village development in Simdega district”
Problem Statement:-
We enlisted the panchayats and villages which are mostly vulnerable and marginalized tribal community like, only 8% of the population, but occupy nearly 20% of thegeographical area, in which contains over 70% of the bulk of forests and water to support strategies to deal with poverty. we are seeing that there’s a lack of awareness, problem related to education , trafficking and exploitation , domestic violence, poverty, community participation,sensitization leads to empowerment also to encourage local governance, enhancing the problemsolving abilities and coping capacities through our awareness drive and training sessions , also we should link them with the other systems which may provide them with resources , by the help of intensive work of gram Sabha we will address the problem
Goals and objectives: Strengthening and Capacity building of elected representative. Meeting regulation of Gram Sabha. Making functional Village development program (VDP). Reach of social service scheme.
Key Strategy:-
- Enabling community participation in the Grama Sabha meetings.
- Strengthening PRImembers at Panchayat level.
- Leadership development in the primary level functional groups will be given high emphasis.
- Creating awareness among the PRI members. Ensuring benefits of the development programs to reach the vulnerable communities of women .
- Enabling leadership capacities at village level among Sewika didi , ASHA/Sahiya didi, SHGs and local bodies.Activities Baseline surveys .

Story of Meromdega Panchayat
The people of Meromdega village of Meromdega Panchayat of T Tangar block of Simdega district were very mentally retarded. Because they were very hesitant to do any thing or work. They always lived in this fear. If we say anything, what will the people of the village society understand and what will they think.
Story of Kiran
In Tapudega village of Meromdega Panchayat of Thethaitanger Block of Simdega district, there was a girl named Kiran (Uten Pyari Kerketta) who was the youngest in the family. But when she was 3 years old, she suddenly had an epileptic attack. Due to which Kiran’s family members were very worried and they were taking rural medicines.
STORY OF JORAMAINE
In Tapudega Ban Toli village of Meromdega Panchayat of Thethaitanger block of Simdega district, there lived a woman named Jormaine Kindo who was 32 years old and had two children, a boy and a girl. She was brought from Taraboga village of Bolba block after marriage and was very happy in her married life.
Madina Story
There is a girl named Madina in Asanbeda village of Tukupani Panchayat of Thethaitanger Block of Simdega district. She was suffering from epilepsy since childhood.
